Shannon and Michael had a storybook wedding… except for some rain… oh and the power going out because of the weather during the family portraits at their church.  Keeping their cool, Shannon and Michael didn’t let the weather affect their mood and had a blast throughout the day.  I couldn’t have been happier being a part of their special day.

OOOHHHHH yes he did!!!!

OOOHHHHH yes SHE did!!!!

Many thanks to Seshu for second shooting.  Also, Anthony Quintano is such an amazing video artist!

I remember walking through Central Park with Michelle and Scott and mentioning that I had recently seen photos of a wedding that was held in the American Museum of Natural History in the room with the GIGANTIC blue whale hanging over head and said, “I really want to shoot a reception in that room!” Well, it wasn’t a week later and I found out that I was going to have that opportunity, thanks to my good friend Robert Norman who had referred me to Kelly and Rob.Oh, yeah… it’s going to be that kind of day!

Um… isn’t this like the coolest place to do portraits… EVA??!!!

… I too lost it when I saw this one!!!

Just a few of the MANY awesome details!

{insert Emeril “BAM” !!!}  … repeat as necessary

This is Brandon Wright.  I first saw Brandon play with the band, The Rhythm Shop, at Michelle and Scott’s wedding. Here he was playing with Manhattan Swing. Both bands ROCK and are HIGHLY recommended!

For anyone following me on Twitter, I promised you an explosion and here it comes!!!

I present to you part 1 of 4 posts of Kelly and Rob’s New York City Wedding. Their wedding was held at Holy Trinity… a GORGEOUS Cathedral on 82nd Street and their reception was held at… GET THIS, THE AMERICAN MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY… IN THE OCEAN LIFE ROOM!!! What??? Kelly and Rob both began their special day in two penthouse suites in the On The Ave Hotel. Kelly’s room overlooked the Hudson River and Robs room had a view of the American Museum of Natural History and Central Park west. Part 1 of this series includes the getting ready photos of Kelly and her friends as they begun the day.

I present to you, Emily Rosnick, makeup artist from CT.

Another fabulous person, Tricia Catenaro of Ten Hair and Makeup, who recently moved to White Plains, NY!

Meaghan and Adam were married back in October on a beautiful October day in Hartford where Meaghan grew up. After preparing for the big day at her parents house, they stepped out onto her front porch for a First Glance. We headed off to take some beautiful portraits in Bushnell Park and the to the Society Room of Hartford where they would get married and have their reception. I can’t tell you how excited I am to show you these awesome images!  Stay tuned for more!

It’ so close I can smell it… the roasting turkey in the oven, homemade stuffing, deserts, and rising bread by the window. It’s so close I can hear it… the Latin music playing throughout my mother and father-in-law’s house, my sister telling me about her grades and middle school drama, and the pattering of familiar feet. It’s so close I can feel it… my father’s arms around me knowing how proud he is of me, the emotional Grace my father in law gives every year as we thank God for all of the gifts we are given, and my wife squeezing my hand under the table letting me know she’s by my side through the thick of life. Thanksgiving is by far my favorite holiday. No pressure, just family and remembering what really matters in the craziness of daily life.

Everyone who knows me understands just how hard I have been working getting photos finished, papers graded, athletes prepared… I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am for this Thanksgiving to be coming. Diana deserves it… deserves me all to herself with no distractions.

So, on this Sunday, I am busting hump to get stuff done: photos completed, uploaded, exported, ready for print. DONE… The end is in sight, beautiful. I love you and I am so excited for this vacation!

Note: It would be the picture above that I would insert into the computer program in the video below!

My other life

By admin · Comments (0)

In another life, I teach… and coach.  My life tends to get crazy once-and-a-while, often with a crazy amount of work that can leave my head spinning. Thankfully, I have coaching which brings me outside into the fresh air with some of the happiest, kindest, and most appreciative student-athletes you could ever ask for. My runners work very hard for me and the other coaches and they have garnered a lot success… Over the past four years, we have sent quite a few runners to the state meet. This season, our top female runner placed 10th in the girls Class B New York State Cross Country Championships… out of 120 female runners in the 5k with a time of 18:43.7, in the pouring rain and 45 degree weather no less. Not too shabby if you ask me. Congratulations Jessica… Can’t wait to watch you work your magic next weekend at the Federation Championships when we add in the NYC and Catholic schools.
